What is Rockabilly ?

Rockabilly began as a music genre, but is now considered a subculture who's style of dress is heavily influenced by the 1950s. Rockabilly gets its name from combining "rock n' roll" with "hillbilly"; a term that came about to describe a type of music hybrid in the 1950s made popular by artists like Elvis and Johnny Cash.

It was then revived in the 1980's with bands such as The Stray Cats and The Polecats. You can notice a Rockabilly Guy by there Slicked Quiffs, Turn-Ups and Engineering Boots or Converse. Girls usually wear the same but with a Quiff, Bettie Paige fringe or Curled hair. Also, their red lip-stick remains the iconic look of sex appeal.

Rockabilly is not a style it's a way of life!

As we started to plan for Halloween we realized how many people LOVE this holiday. We felt like we were excluding people by doing it for one day. We have extended the Event and turned it into a HUNT!!! Day one Saturday October 26th will kick off the event with a Party that will be sponsored by 5 stores [to be announced soon]. With that party the "hunt" will begin sim wide. Then it will end on Thursday October 31st with another party where we will be giving away gift cards throughout the day. All of the outfits, home items and pose sets will be for sale with only 100 being produced. Only 100 being sold to the general public, 5 for bloggers and magazines and 5 for models.
Our home designers are creating special vignettes to showcase their executive designs.
Props and poses were created for all those special photographic moments.
